News Flash! Our Cavalier girl, Piper, (Kristy's sister) has a new litter of little ones by the same Top 25 Champion sire that was the father of Kristy's litter. Check out our "Available Puppy" page to see photos. You can also see photos of Kristy's previous litter. That litter has already gone home to their new families, but i just thought you may want to see them as they are from the same exact lines as Piper's pups. We also have a couple of adult tri-colored Cavaliers for sale! Both have already gotten their eye, heart, and patella certs. ************** We are sorry to say that Crystal is not pregnant, so it may be a few months before we have a litter of English Cream Golden Retriever puppies. We will probably be having our next litter in late spring or early summer. Welcome to Hearts O' Gold! We hope you will enjoy your visit with us as you find out more about our "family"! We are located in North Central Florida in beautiful Ocala, the "Horse Capital of the World"! We are the home of exquisite English Cream Golden Retrievers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels from excellent Champion lines! We specialize in breeding beautiful, healthy puppies with great temperaments. We have been breeding Golden Retrievers for over 11 years and about 6 years ago we decided we wanted to find a small breed that had the same wonderful disposition as the Golden. After doing lots of research into many different small breeds and talking to lots of people, including other breeders, we heard about the Cavalier. It was actually a very close friend of mine that first told me about the Cavalier. She knew about my search and she was helping me by talking to other breeders, as well. Then I spent many hours reading all about the Cavalier and it didn't take long for me to realize that this was just the breed I was looking for. One of the books I read even referred to them as the "Golden Retriever in a small body". I was so excited! But sadly, the first puppy I bought didn't pass his eye cert, which was unfortunate for us, but it ended up being a blessing for so many others. He is now a therapy dog working with children in the Juvenile Justice system, who are going through very difficult times. Since then, I have placed several Goldens and Cavaliers with 2 awesome organizations, which use at-risk and incarcerated teens to train service and therapy dogs. Not only does it greatly benefit the recipient of the dogs, but it is life-changing for the teens in the program. There aren't any two other breeds in the world who are better suited to this than the Golden Retriever and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They are the perfect "family" dogs! :) |
