News Flash! Our Cavalier girl, Piper, (Kristy's sister) was recently bred to the same Champion sire that was the father of Kristy's litter. Kristy's litter have all gone to their new homes, but we wanted you to be able to see her pups as Piper's pups would be of the same exact lines. However, Piper is tri-colored so we may have some tri -colored pups in this litter, as well as blenheims. They would be due around the beginning of March. We also have a couple of adult tri-colored Cavaliers for sale! Both have already gotten their eye, heart, and patella certs. ************** Crystal and Dutch will hopefully be having a litter of beautiful English Cream Golden Retriever puppies around the end of Feb. Welcome to Hearts O' Gold! We hope you will enjoy your visit with us as you find out more about our "family"! We are located in North Central Florida in beautiful Ocala, the "Horse Capital of the World"! We are the home of exquisite English Cream Golden Retrievers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels from excellent Champion lines! We specialize in breeding beautiful, healthy puppies with great temperaments. We have been breeding Golden Retrievers for over 11 years and about 6 years ago we decided we wanted to find a small breed that had the same wonderful disposition as the Golden. After doing lots of research into many different small breeds and talking to lots of people, including other breeders, we heard about the Cavalier. It was actually a very close friend of mine that first told me about the Cavalier. She knew about my search and she was helping me by talking to other breeders, as well. Then I spent many hours reading all about the Cavalier and it didn't take long for me to realize that this was just the breed I was looking for. One of the books I read even referred to them as the "Golden Retriever in a small body". I was so excited! But sadly, the first puppy I bought didn't pass his eye cert, which was unfortunate for us, but it ended up being a blessing for so many others. He is now a therapy dog working with children in the Juvenile Justice system, who are going through very difficult times. Since then, I have placed several Goldens and Cavaliers with 2 awesome organizations, which use at-risk and incarcerated teens to train service and therapy dogs. Not only does it greatly benefit the recipient of the dogs, but it is life-changing for the teens in the program. There aren't any two other breeds in the world who are better suited to this than the Golden Retriever and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They are the perfect "family" dogs! :) |
